How to #SaveThanksgiving – 2015
The turn to Fall season means we turn our attention to #SaveThanksgiving efforts once again! Welcome back!
I have only seen one or two stores with Christmas decorations up … and that is one or two too many for my liking. What does 2015 efforts look like? Well, there are several items that we will continue to roll with:
- A continued desire to add your stories and memories to this page – to illustrate the importance of Thanksgiving under our Thanksgiving Memories
- Please consider donating to our Feeding America online food drive by clicking here
- The partnership with TakeBackThanksgiving.org remains as well
However, there are a few new items under consideration as well. From our feedback survey, I received a few really good ideas that I wanted to throw out there. (I’ve left that survey open for additional feedback.)
Here is a “profile icon” that you can save and paste wherever you would like:
For any business that is NOT OPEN on Thanksgiving, I am more than happy to offer up or pass along coupons or discount codes for Black Friday and beyond.
Finally, and you may have seen this mentioned on our Twitter feed a few times, I am interested in starting a Booster t-shirt campaign. If you are interested in a t-shirt, please let me know and I will get this started immediately.
Thank you for the support, I’m looking forward to the weeks and months ahead!
